Terms of Service
Effective date: July 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of meifinancialsolutions.com (the "Site"), operated by MEI Financial Solutions LLC ("MEI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting the quote form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Please read Section 13 (Dispute Resolution) carefully. It requires most disputes between you and MEI to be resolved by individual binding arbitration rather than in court, and includes a waiver of class actions and jury trials. Section 13 explains how to opt out of that requirement.
1. Who we are
MEI Financial Solutions is an independent life insurance agency licensed in 16 states. We help connect residents of those states with a licensed agent for a free, no-obligation review of life insurance options. We are not affiliated with any government agency or program.
2. Not insurance advice or an offer of coverage
Information on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute insurance, financial, legal, or tax advice, nor is it an offer or guarantee of coverage. Coverage, eligibility, availability, and rates are determined solely by the issuing insurance carrier and are subject to underwriting approval. Not all products or coverage amounts are available to everyone or in every situation. Nothing on this Site should be treated as a personal recommendation; any specific recommendation will come from a licensed insurance advisor after speaking with you directly. Using the Site or speaking with an agent does not create any fiduciary, advisory, or professional relationship beyond that of a prospective insurance customer.
3. Service area
MEI Financial Solutions currently offers services only to residents of the states where we are licensed: Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia. Submitting the form does not guarantee that we can serve you if you are located outside these states.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use this Site or submit the quote form. By submitting the form, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
5. Submitting the quote form
When you submit the quote form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, that you are the current owner or primary/authorized user of the phone number and email address you submit, and that the phone number has not been reassigned away from you to someone else. By checking the consent box, you agree to be contacted by phone, text message, or email as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, and you may revoke it at any time as described there. We reserve the right to verify any information submitted and to decline to provide services based on inaccurate or unverifiable information.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by submitting false or fraudulent information; submitting someone else's contact information without their permission; attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems; scraping or harvesting data from the Site; or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The text, graphics, logos, and other content on this Site are owned by or licensed to MEI Financial Solutions and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our permission, except as necessary to use the Site for its intended purpose.
8. Third-party links
The Site may reference or link to third-party carriers, vendors, or resources we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and linking to one does not imply our endorsement of it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEI FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MEI Financial Solutions, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Dispute resolution — binding arbitration and class action waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Agreement to arbitrate. You and MEI Financial Solutions agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Site, or any communications you receive from us will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Class action waiver. YOU AND MEI AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
Jury trial waiver. You and MEI are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Arbitration procedure. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator and may be conducted by telephone or based on written submissions where permitted by the applicable rules. Each party is responsible for its own attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator awards fees as permitted by applicable law or the AAA rules.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to contact@meifinancialsolutions.com within 30 days of the date you first submit the quote form or otherwise agree to these Terms, stating your name and that you opt out of the arbitration agreement. If you opt out, neither you nor MEI will be required to arbitrate, but every other part of these Terms will continue to apply.
Severability of this section. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court rather than in arbitration, and the remainder of this arbitration agreement will still apply to all other claims.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and, where applicable, the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms (other than the class action waiver in Section 13, which is addressed separately above) is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire agreement; no waiver; assignment
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and MEI regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements on this subject. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If we make a material change to Section 13 (Dispute Resolution), we will provide reasonably prominent notice, and continued use of the Site after that notice constitutes acceptance of the update.
